Skills For Humanity’s new project is looking to supply Myanmar’s vulnerable youth with educational materials, reaching all ages and backgrounds. Our goal is to creat an accepting, fun, judgement-free zone with educational activities for all.
The Skills Library aims to offer education to those in vulnderable situations by offering fun activities and learning materials to all. Many who stay in or visit Myanmar are aware of child jasmine vendors, trash collectors, and water carriers. But, what many don’t know is that they are oftens victims of abuse or even coerced into taking narcotics such as yaabaa and inhalants. We will be making sure that these children get access to an education and support.
We will also be creating sustainable educational courses for local orphanages, teaching English lessons and useful skills. Our SFH team even offers assistance finding scholarships, jobs, and other opportunities including finding sponsors and referees.
